This past weekend at Texas Frightmare Weekend, the new designs for the puppets in the upcoming horror film Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich were revealed. Each puppet has been redesigned, including Blade and Tunneler, and there is even a new one that looks like a frog wizard! Meet the new puppets and learn more about the reboot.
The film is directed by Sonny Laguna and Tommy Wiklund with a screenplay written by Bone Tomahawk’s Craig Zahler. Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich stars Nelson Franklin, Thomas Lennon, Michael Paré, Charlyne Yi, Barbara Crampton, and more.
According to DreadCentral, the plot revolves around a WWII Memorabilia convention showcasing the puppets. The fun starts when they break free and go on a killing spree throughout the convention and hotel. Shooting took place in Dallas, TX at the Ambassador Hotel and the film will feature a lot of practical effects. How great is that? That instantly makes us want to watch it more!
Charles Band, a legendary icon known for his work in the Puppet Master series as well as other iconic films, posted a few sneak peeks on his Twitter yesterday including this one showing off the puppets and his excitement for the new film:
