Two years removed from his work on The Hateful Eight, Quentin Tarantino is developing his next film- and it sounds like a heavy one.
The film, which has already been penned and will reportedly be directed by Tarantino, will focus on the Manson family murders of 1969, when cult-leader Charles Manson ordered a group of his followers to attack the guests of a house in Los Angeles’ Benedict Canyon. Every guest in the home was viciously attacked and murdered by the followers, including actress Sharon Tate, who was only a month shy of giving birth.
It’s unclear if the film will follow the actual events of that night, or if Quentin Tarantino is continuing his trend of re-writing history through cinema. No actors are currently attached to the project, but we expect huge names to fill that void in the coming months.
