In Marvel’s Daredevil season two, we saw Jon Bernthal star in one of his best roles to date as Frank Castle’s “The Punisher.” Even before viewers had a chance to see Bernthal in action, development for the spin-off show, titled The Punisher, began in January 2016 with director Steve Lightfoot. Just ahead of Comic-Con, a bloody new poster was revealed for the upcoming series.
