Boston’s own Stained Glass and Blood Bath Productions is teaming up with Bald Dog Productions (also of Boston) for intense new project titled Salt and Iron. Since the release of their last blood-filled love story, Happenstance, audiences have anxiously awaited what comes next from this emerging team.
Lead by director George James Fraser, the Stained Glass and Blood Bath team having been leaving trails of red within the Boston film scene. Now teaming up with director and cinematographer Mike OD of Bald Dog Productions, they’re striving to make Salt and Iron unlike anything we’ve seen yet.
Produced by Kevin Whittier and Mike OD, Salt and Iron stars William DeCoff and newcomer Marissa Joy. It is set to receive another bone-chilling score by composer team The Inside World. The film revolves around a powerful story of sexuality and willpower as a fisherman finds himself to be the one chasing the bait.
The team kicked off a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo on July 7th. They plan to use the funds raised to pay for their extravagant wardrobe and special effects departments. Perks for donating include film credits, access to behind the scenes sneak peaks, autographed prints of set stills, and much more.
