Ahead of the early 2018 release of Chainsawesome Games’ 3v3 asymmetrical multiplayer FPS Aftercharge, players can experience the game’s competitive gameplay. The Aftercharge open alpha will be available for download on Steam for free from October 13 – 15. The three-day open alpha is available to the public.

This is the first publicly playable alpha version of Aftercharge — a clever, yet deceptively simple first-person multiplayer game. One team of three invisible robots work to destroy six energy extractors on the map, while another team of three indestructible (and heavily-armed) human(oid) guards attempts to stop them. It sounds simple, right? Think again. Each team features three class types uniquely suited to combat the opposing team’s individual abilities.

On the defending Enforcers team, choose between invincible guards Striker, Liquidator and Builder. When on the attack team as an invisible Workonics droid, dismantle extractors as Glitch, Bubbles and the newly revealed today, Cyclops (check out the first footage below!). Alternate characters to explore new offensive and defensive tactical options and strengthen your team’s strategy.

Aftercharge is the latest game from Canadian indie team Chainsawesome Games, who are also behind the fan-favorite and popular Xbox Games with Gold title, Knight Squad.
