Billy Corgan may not know where our bones will rest, but the Smashing Pumpkins frontman is certain of one thing: paranormal anomalies are legit. Recently appearing on The Howard Stern Show, the rocker spoke with the famous host about his recent appearance on The Alex Jones Show, which prompted Stern to claim that Jones believes in “a race of lizard people.” Corgan, however, didn’t dismiss this notion, instead claiming to have “had paranormal experiences in my life that sort of lend itself into that category.”
If what he said next is true, the singer has seen some shit:
“Let’s just say I was with somebody once, and I saw a transformation that I can’t explain.”
Stern went on to question if what he saw was a “person [transform] into something other than human,” prompting Corgan to continue, “Yes, I saw it.” He then stated that he was “totally sober” at the time.
“Imagine you’re doing something, and suddenly you turn around, and there’s somebody else standing there,” Corgan continued. “It’s hard to explain without going into detail, I’d rather not go into detail.”
Though he didn’t go into specifics about the horrifying situation, he did say that the transformed person “acknowledged” the change, and that the experience is “up there with one of the most intense things I’ve ever been through.”
