As someone who has joined a growing segment of the population and gotten rid of my cable, I get my entertainment from the usual suspects online. Netflix, Amazon Video and Hulu are now my entertainment sources. With Halloween just around the corner, these providers as streaming some stellar horror favorites.
Oftentimes, I forget about Hulu while I’m endlessly searching for something to watch on Netflix. Recently, I was attempting to find some Halloween scares to help celebrate the season of the witch, and that’s when I checked out the selection on Hulu.
To say I was surprised by the offerings would be an understatement. As I searched through the titles at my fingertips I was blown away that some of my favorites were there. They have several subcategories which makes it a little to easier to navigate.
Huluween, Stephen King, Colossal Creatures, Otherworldly, Spooky Not Scary, Scary As Hell, Iconic Horror, Humorous Horror, Slasher, Indies, Vampires, Foreign Frights, Anime and Staff Picks are some of the areas you can check out.
To list every film offered would be a nightmare, so I have broken down the list of the ones I have watched and suggest you do as well. As we get closer to the celebration of All Hallow’s Eve, turn the lights down, grab a snack, pick a few films, and lose yourself in the offerings of the other side.
