Personally, I would never babysit for anyone unless I knew the people well. There’s something eerie about watching over someone’s child you don’t know. It seems like a disaster waiting to happen.

In the new horror short, Unbearing, the babysitter gets way more than she bargained for when she accepts a last-minute babysitting gig. The film is directed by Aidan Weaver and produced by Jennifer Trudrung of Night Frizz Productions. Trudrung also stars in the film alongside Mary Katherine O’Donnell, Jenna Goforth, and Reginal Heinish.

This short is just a little over 10 minutes and will send shivers up and down your spine. From beginning to end, it delivers a creepy atmosphere that will have you contemplating on whether babysitting is worth that extra cash.

I’m not going to let you tell anyone!

All of the performances were top notch in Unbearing. I could feel the fear radiating off Lindsay played by Mary Katherine O’Donnell as she discovers the truth about her babysitting gig. Jennifer Trudrung was truly terrifying and reminiscent of other crazy mother’s in films such as The People Under the Stairs and Mommie Dearest.

Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the ending. I knew something was off about the family and the child, but I didn’t see that twist coming. The poor girl never had a chance.

Overall, Unbearing is a fun little horror short that will keep you guessing throughout the story. I would love to see it as a full feature film as well. If you get a chance to watch it, please do and let us know what you think!
