Good luck on getting him to abide by the “no kill” rule…

After replacing Christian Bale as the Dark Knight for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Ben Affleck has managed to win over a lot of fans in the role. Regardless, the rumor mill suggests he may be out as the Caped Crusader in Matt Reeves’ upcoming The Batman movie. So if another new actor has to don the Batsuit, where does that leave us?

In a new interview with Yahoo, actor Michael C. Hall has thrown his name in the hat to be our new Bruce Wayne. Having voiced the character in the animated film Justice League: Gods and Monsters where Batman is a vampire (?), Hall is asked how he would feel about playing the superhero in a live-action film. Enthused by the idea, Hall goes into character with a Batman impression to give his answer.

“I’m Batman, tell your friends about me!” Hall says while directly looking at the camera, in his best Batman voice. He adds, “I love that, that was the Michael Keaton version. Well, thanks, sure – I’m all for that!

Dexter fans will recognize Hall as the titular vigilante whose MO was killing other murderers. An instant hit, the series ran on Showtime for eight seasons from 2006 to 2013. Today, Hall stars on the new crime drama Safe, which hits Netflix on May 10th. You can watch the official trailer below!
