Dev Diary is a new documentary series from Forever an Astronaut, a production company and film studio based in St. Louis. The series follows three brothers, Seth Coster, Sam Coster and Adam Coster, who run the indie game studio Butterscotch Shenanigans.

Butterscotch Shenanigans was founded in 2012 and released the hit game Crashlands, which made the Best Apps and Best Games list for Time Magazine and won TouchArcade’s Game of the Year award. Dev Diary goes behind the scenes of the game and talks about how Crashlands has helped Sam during his battle with cancer at the age of 23.

The series will be released January 21st, 2017 by Devolver Digital on Steam ($7.99 for the entire season, $1.99 per episode). You can also catch it on Vimeo On Demand, VHX and Amazon. To get an early glimpse of what’s to come, you can check the full pilot out now:
