Gun Media has announced that a new counselor is on her way to Camp Crystal Lake in Friday The 13th: The Game.
Bearing a resemblance to Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood’s Queen B, Melissa Paur, counselor Victoria Sterling is rich, manipulative, and will always put herself first. Basically, Victoria is the female version of everyone’s favorite dick – Chad Kensington. What a couple they would make!
Her stats were also confirmed along with the announcement. Victoria will lack strong repair skills, strength, and speed. However, her stamina, stealth, and luck are well above average, which still makes her a strong contender. So, while you won’t exactly want to hunt Jason down with a baseball bat using Victoria, you should do well at fleeing and hiding out when needed. She should also be able to gather a pocket knife or two with 8/10 luck on her side.
As with most of the content Gun Media and IllFonic have released, Victoria will be added at no additional cost in the next update. However, she will not have accessible items in the Spring Break and Halloween premium DLC clothing packs.
Victoria is just one of many playable counselors that have been added to Friday The 13th: The Game since its May 2017 launch. The game has recently added fan favorite Shelly Finkelstein from Friday the 13th Part III. He was incredibly important to the franchise, as Shelly is the one who gave Jason his iconic mask. Also added from Part III is Fox, who was played in the film by the late Gloria Charles. While counselor Mitch Floyd isn’t directly from a Friday the 13th film, it is pretty obvious that he was inspired by hippie stoner Chuck, played by David Katims.
No word on when the new update will go into effect, so stay tuned for more news!
